I am very, very fond of all the technological advances that have happened over the years since my birth. I don't think this would come as a surprise to anyone who knew me. The fact that all the information the world has to offer is at my fingertips is a marvel that I don't know I'll ever truly be able to comprehend, and that's not even touching on all the advances to modern medicine and convenience that have fundamentally changed the world on its head.

That said, in some things, we have gone too far.

Specifically in the realm of automated massage chairs.

More specifically still, to wit: I am trapped in a massage chair and it won't let me leave.

So now that the crisis has passed, everyone's all healed up, and had a chance to recover emotionally ~~or whatever~~ I think it's time we all lock in and discuss the most important thing facing us in the near future.

Lincoln Pride is this Saturday. Everyone is going, no excuses, no time quakes, no paperwork to do, no nothing. Anyone who bails can expect torment and ridicule from me until next year's Pride.

Because I am a generous soul and a top-tier agent, I'm even footing the bill for a couple of sprinter vans to drive us there and drive us back so people can drink. You're welcome.

Remember;

It's Pride, there will be no judgment. People can get as sloppy drunk and as slutty fun as they want.

They search bags at the entrance and have metal detector wands. No weapons.

It's Pride. Put some effort into your outfit. If you show up looking boring, then I and the other fun people will remove two items of your clothing and liberally apply body glitter and rainbow paint.

A crowd will likely form around me. This is normal. I can handle myself.

We've received permission to ~~atte~~ draw out suspected Time Profiteers, or at least their accomplices, by entering a forged lot into auction this weekend. Props created a copy of the 17th-century nautical map, the provenance of which had already been edited by outside hands.

Those with their ears to the ground may want to listen for discussion about the auction or the names "Genevieve Deering" and "Thaddeus Price" in the coming days.

The auction house employees already know Mallory as my colleague in fraud investigation; the rest of you should decide on your cover stories. Costumes will allow me to assist with your disguises as I can be rather overbearing and difficult when told "no" about something I believe in which I should be included.

Ultimately, you've been asked to place EchoTrace devices on those we determine to be Profiteer associates.

And if anyone hears someone from Christie's say unkind words about me, you're required to report back with exactly who said what so I may exact appropriate revenge.
